Pilates ...My Saturday Morning Ritual!
I have been working with Jennifer for over 3 years and I love it. I have tried most forms of exercise, the tried and tested as well as all the fads. Pilates is the one program I have stuck with religiously. I have a Saturday morning private lesson with Jennifer - and I hate to miss it. I live in Norther Virginia and spend weekends at the Lake. I frequently get in the car at 6am on a Saturday and drive 172 miles to make my class. It that important to me!
My job requires me to fly frequently, often weekly. Before I started Pilates I frequently suffered with back pain due to the travel - carry heavy bags through endless airports and squashed into economy seats! Not being one to take painkillers I read that Pilates can help with back problems. I was extremely lucky to find the Balanced Body Studio and Jennifer, such a skilled and qualified teacher. She worked a program around my back problems and I was quickly pain free. Three years on and if I every start to feel any pain I know how to work it out. Its my Saturday ritual. Jennifer is a fantastic teacher, and a lot of fun to work out with.
